Hebrews 11:1  “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Do you have faith? Do you believe in yourself strongly enough to achieve great things?

Faith is something that all of us have even from birth. For example, when you are driving on the highway, you are operating in faith and are trusting that everyone else on the highway will not hit you at 70 mph. We all have faith when we go see our doctor and trust that he knows what he is doing. Put that same faith towards achieving success. Faith begins in your mind. In the 2nd chapter of Think and Grow RichNapoleon Hill states “FAITH is a state of mind which may be induced, or created by affirmations or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind, through the principle of autosuggestion.
Your emotions play an important role in your life. Once your thoughts have been touched by your emotions and mixed with your faith, it will manifest itself. At this point you now realize that your thought life is a vital source for your faith to grow. “There are millions of people who believe themselves “doomed” to poverty and failure because of some strange force over which they believe they have no control. They are creators of their own misfortunes because of this negative belief, which is picked up by their subconscious mind and translated into its physical equivalent.” This statement is saying that there are people who, right now, have lost hope in obtaining wealth. They have already made up in their mind that defeat is all they know. What a tragedy! Napoleon Hill says “They are creators of their own misfortunes because of this negative belief, which is picked up by their subconscious mind and translated into its physical equivalent.” In order for us all to move forward lets remove all negative thoughts and beliefs from our mind. This type of thinking will hold you back from all the great things that you are capable of doing. Many people need mentors and mentors will play an important role in your life. Keep yourself accountable! While you are in search of a good mentor, I ask that you turn to a biographies of greatly successful men and women throughout history. I enjoy reading books now and am currently reading a book entitled Thomas Jefferson; The Art of Power by Jon Meacham. I started to grow an interest in American history because of Think and Grow Rich. Within the 8th chapter of Think and Grow Rich, called Decision, Napoleon Hill gives an account of the men who made up their minds to become free from England. Believe me, once you read it, you will be proud to be an American and will desire to live out what these men dreamed for all future Americans.

Faith plays a huge role in this chapter because without it they would not have found the courage to stand up against England. Napoleon Hill goes on to say, “A decision in the minds of two individuals, might properly be called the beginning of freedom which we of the United States we now enjoy. Remember, too, that the decision of these two men (John Hancock and Samuel Adams) called for Faith and Courage because it was dangerous.” When he describes Thomas Jefferson he writes “Before the first meeting of the new Congress, another leader in a different section of the country was deep in the thrones of publishing a “Summary View of the Rights of British America”. He was Thomas Jefferson of the Province of Virginia, whose relationship to Lord Dunmore (Representative of the Crown in Virginia) was strained as that of Hancock and Adams with their Governor.” After Jefferson wrote we know as the Declaration of Independence it goes on to say, “The document was drawn and on June 28 the original draft was read before Congress. For several days it was discussed, altered, and made ready. On July 4, 1776, Thomas Jefferson stood before the Assembly and fearlessly read the most momentous DECISION ever placed on paper.” WOW! How can you not get the chills from reading that?!?! Well, I did. Now I am interested in reading about the many other men who were a part of this decision that made history. They had FAITH!
Let me ask you, do you need to be encouraged? Begin to trust in God because he is the lifter of your head. He knows where you are. Begin to declare that today you will begin to write out and plan out what you will do to obtain finances. Build your faith on speaking into your future.
Begin by writing and declaring something like this:

“Today I want to declare that I am successful! I am talented. I am qualified. I am worthy. I am gifted in areas that no one else is. I am wealthy. I am healthy. I am a successful businessman/woman. God has given me business ideas that no one else has. I will achieve great things! I will own my own business. I am a man/woman of integrity. I am a man/woman of character. I am a man/woman of honesty.  I am a child of God. I am blessed and highly favored. I am worth $100 million dollars. I am becoming debt free. My future is bright because God is with me and thus nothing will be impossible. God is working behind the scenes and he is bringing the right people towards me. Opportunity is chasing after me. I will be the head and not the tail.”

If you begin to speak like that, your faith will begin to rise up in you and you will begin to do great things.
